Careers Questions
Can I work in any country?
Each job opening we make available should state the work-status and location requirements for that role.
Some of our roles, from time to time, may allow remote workers from other countries to join our team. Other roles require a presence and/or legal right to work in the USA and might be done from any US location. Lastly, some of our roles require a physical presence in Boston at our headquarters.
When in doubt, we welcome applications — just please note in your resume or CV your physical location and whether you have a right to work in the USA (citizenship, visa that allows work, or similar status).
Will I get a Lumia device?
In most cases, individuals who work at Lumia Health™ in USA-based roles will indeed have the opportunity to test a Lumia™ device! You may need to acquire your own iPhone. For more details and fine print, you can ask the hiring manager or recruiter during your interview if your role would involve access to a Lumia™ device.
Are there really pastry breaks?
Yes! Every Friday is Pastry Friday, and we take this commitment very seriously. All team members -- no matter where they are based -- are encouraged to take a brief pastry break on Fridays, the better to fuel that innovative spark we hold dear here at Lumia Health™.
Pastries are provided by team members themselves on a volunteer rotating basis, which means our remote people need will need to self-pastry.
